Our Mission

MCL Coordination is a full-service wedding and event planning company organizing beautiful and personalized events in Miami, Florida. We are driven by a desire to help people celebrate the best moments in their lives with thoughtfulness, style, and a great party! 

Our aim is to make your event planning experience creative and fun. We take the stress out of organizing life's celebrations with attention to detail, meticulous planning, and friendly guidance.

Our Approach

Our approach is friendly and organic.  First, we want to hear about you. We'll get to know you, your tastes, and interests and weave them into thoughtful details and design ideas personalized for you.

Throughout the planning process, we are in constant communication, providing you as little or as much involvement as you would like. We'll be by your side for the big decisions and big moments, as we work in collaboration to bring your vision to life. 

On event day, we are a source of calm and organization, making sure you can enjoy yourself with the people you love most.

Maria Cristina Lloveras is the creative energy and designer behind MCL Coordination. Cristy grew up learning how to host and entertain from her mother, grandmother, and countless aunts. In the kitchens and patios of her big Cuban family, she learned that details count, and if it's not done right, it's not worth doing.

While studying in New Orleans, she learned under a Martha Stewart Weddings Top-Wedding Planner and executed beautiful and timeless weddings in one of America's most romantic cities.  After returning to her hometown of Miami, she entered the finance industry, working as a financial advisor at Merrill Lynch. During this time, she continued to gain skills and contacts in South Florida while coordinating private and charity events.  Cristy knew event coordination and design were her passion, and after four years in finance, she was able to pursue her dream of creating MCL Coordination. 

Cristy loves al fresco dinners, specialty cocktails, and natural details. When she's not working on your next event, you can find her hanging out in her sunroom with her two cats and her husband, Michael.
